In this tutorial I demonstrate using the Blur Gallery in Adobe® Photoshop®, along with adjustment layers and blending modes, to add a “miniature effect” to your photographs. This technique works well with photos created from a high vantage point. In this example I hiked up to a viewpoint in Halong Bay, Vietnam and photographed the boats down below. Adding a tilt-shift effect in post-processing makes the boats look miniaturized!
